How Powerful Are Your Beliefs?

It doesn't really matter what religion you believe in, what matters is that you educate yourself to find out more about it. Our mind is so powerful that it can produce facts from simple beliefs with very little evidence.

Once you start to believe in any religion, you will soon find yourself reinforcing these simple beliefs, with other similar beliefs, until you have created an environment that you assume to be true, without questioning its origins.

You need to seriously ask yourself, how powerful are your beliefs? How did these beliefs, become facts? If you were raised to believe in something, have you ever questioned these beliefs? When does a belief actually become something that won't require any evidence to support it?

You can see the effects of these powerful beliefs, within any religious organization. You can stand outside of the Catholic Church and watch how the followers treat the priests. Some of the church followers, will get out of their cars, laughing, joking or kidding with each other and their attitudes will change to a more somber mode, as they walked closer to the priest.

Most Catholics believe that the priest is a man of God or a holy person and this can form powerful images in your mind. The priest can provide you with helpful advice, help you on your journey to the kingdom of God or heaven and somehow seems to have a deeper connection to God and you do.

If you ever want to get an education and how powerful people's beliefs are, within a religious organization, simply stand outside of that organizations place of worship, as people are entering what they believe to be a holy place or house of God.

The problem with powerful beliefs, can simply be the fear that they create. Powerful images of good and evil, can motivate weak minded people to follow almost anything.

I can't stress this enough, if you want to free yourself from these mind boggling beliefs of fear or love, you can start educating yourself by reading books on psychology, religion and spirituality.
